I did that doodle a few years ago when I owned a Smart car. When I'd drive up Tuel Lane, because of the steepness, it would cause one of the fuel indicator lights on my dashboard to go out. Once I was back on the level road at the top, after a while the indicator light would return. Tuel Lane drank my petrol. Tuel Lane is a road near where I live that is very, very steep.
